Transport to Granada: one trip or two
At about 110 km, transport to Granada costs €85 per round trip, based on our €30 per hour of driving with fuel included. The distance shapes the plan:
- Without an engineer: we drop the kit off before the wedding and come back for it at the end. Two trips, €170.
- With our engineer staying for the day: one trip, €85, and the kit leaves with us after the last song.
At this distance it is worth weighing the two side by side: the engineer costs €100 + VAT for the day, while the second trip is another €85. We set out both options in the quote.
Carmens, cortijos and views of the Alhambra
Granada has the Alhambra, and typical wedding venues are a carmen, a traditional house with a walled garden in the old quarters, or a cortijo, a country estate outside the city.
Old-town streets are narrow and steep: tell us how close a van can get and whether there are stairs. In a walled garden sound bounces, so the ceremony gets the wireless mic and no bass. At a cortijo in open country the subwoofer carries the dance floor.
If the venue has a sound limiter or a music cut-off time, let us know and we plan around it.
Practical points
- Electricity: the number of sockets at the spot where the kit will go.
- Plan B: a covered space in case of rain.
- Liability: public liability insurance of €600,000.
- Reservation: booking deposit and a one-page contract.
- Messages: English or Spanish, on WhatsApp.
