Every couple asks; few suppliers answer with a number. The short answer, by guest count:
- Up to 80 guests, ceremony and speeches only: 1 speaker, 1 mic and a mixing desk
- 50 to 150 guests with dancing: 2 speakers, plus the Pioneer DJ controller if someone is playing
- 100 to 300 guests with a dance floor: 2 speakers and 1 subwoofer
- Over 150 guests and dancing until late: 2 speakers and 2 subwoofers (subject to availability)

Transport to your venue
Free in Vélez-Málaga and Torre del Mar. Elsewhere, €30 per hour of driving, fuel included, minimum €30 per round trip. A wedding without our engineer usually takes two round trips (drop-off and collection); one if the engineer stays. Over 150 km from base, quoted on WhatsApp.

Why the subwoofer matters
What separates a full dance floor from an empty one after two songs is not volume, it is bass. Two speakers alone go loud, but once the floor fills, bodies absorb the sound and the music turns thin. The subwoofer holds it up: with a sub you don't just hear the music, you feel it. Outdoors it matters even more — there are no walls or ceiling to reflect the sound, and without a sub what is left is flat and tiring.
The three moments of a wedding
1. Ceremony
The point here is that every word is understood: vows, readings, the officiant. One well-placed speaker and the Shure BLX24 wireless mic, so nobody reads standing next to a trailing cable. For an outdoor ceremony the same applies: moderate volume and no bass. Echo is the enemy, not lack of power.
2. Cocktail and dinner
Background music at a level where guests can talk without shouting, and a mic at hand for speeches. If the cocktail is in another area of the venue, we either move the kit between sittings or add a second set of speakers: tell us beforehand and we include it in the quote.
3. Dance floor
This is where everything comes in: two speakers, a subwoofer and, if someone is playing, the Pioneer DDJ-FLX10 DJ controller.

Your DJ or ours
Hire only the kit and bring your own DJ: they plug into our speakers and mixing desk, and the Pioneer DDJ-FLX10 is the controller DJs ask for. Or leave the party to us: we have an in-house agency of DJs, singers and entertainers, quoted separately from the hire.
Practical details for planners
- Power sockets: tell us how many there are where the kit goes. Many venues have one socket for all the catering.
- Covered plan B: if rain is possible, let us know where the indoor or covered option is.
- Sound limiter or music cut-off time: if the venue has either, tell us and we plan around it.
- Insurance: public liability insurance of €600,000.
- Booking: a booking deposit and a one-page contract.
- Language: message us in English or Spanish.

How much does wedding sound cost in Spain?
With us, Wedding Basic costs €360 + VAT (€435.60) per day and Wedding Pro €540 + VAT (€653.40), with set-up, sound check and pack-down at the venue included. Transport is added per our published tariff (for example, approx. €60 for a typical wedding in Nerja or Málaga, €140 in Marbella), and a sound engineer for the whole day is optional at €100 + VAT (€121.00).
How much does it cost to rent speakers for a wedding?
An Alto TS415 15" speaker is €60 + VAT per day and an Alto TS18S subwoofer €75 + VAT. For a wedding, the Wedding Basic package (two speakers, one subwoofer, two mics and a mixing desk) is €360 + VAT per day with set-up and pack-down included.
How many speakers do we need for 150 guests?
With dancing, two 15" speakers and one subwoofer: two Alto TS415 and an Alto TS18S, which is our Wedding Basic package at €360 + VAT. Above 150 guests, or dancing until late, add a second subwoofer with Wedding Pro at €540 + VAT.
Do you provide sound for an outdoor ceremony?
Yes. One well-placed speaker and the Shure BLX24 wireless mic for the vows, readings and speeches, at moderate volume and with no bass, so every word is clear. Both are included in the two wedding packages.
Can our own DJ use your equipment?
Yes. Your DJ plugs into our speakers and mixing desk, and Wedding Pro includes the Pioneer DDJ-FLX10, the controller DJs ask for. If you have no DJ, we can provide one from our own agency, quoted separately.
Do we need a sound engineer on the day?
Not necessarily: we set up, leave the music playing and give a 5-minute walkthrough to whoever runs the playlist. If you want someone looking after the sound all day, add a sound engineer for the whole wedding at €100 + VAT (€121.00) per day.
What power does the venue need?
Stable power sockets at the spot where the kit goes: two speakers and a subwoofer need a steady supply, and many venues have a single socket for all the catering. Tell us how many sockets there are, and whether there is a covered plan B, in your first message.
Are you insured?
Yes. We hold public liability insurance of €600,000.
Do you cover Nerja, Frigiliana, Marbella and Granada?
Yes. Package prices are the same everywhere; only transport changes. For a typical wedding (two round trips) transport is approx. €60 to Nerja or Frigiliana, €140 to Marbella and €170 to Granada.
How far ahead should we book?
As soon as you have the venue date. The wedding season runs from May to October, and Saturdays in June, July and September go first. A booking deposit and a one-page contract secure the date.
